About Us

Our IEEE Student Branch at Rose-Hulman has been actively providing students a way to get involved in a technically advanced field for many years.  See below to learn more about our branch, IEEE, Rose-Hulman, and the ECE Department.

Our Student Branch

Our Student Branch consists of roughly 60 active members that all attend Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.  We are based in Terre Haute, Indiana and meet once a month.  Together we organize speakers, workshops, social events, and community outreach programs.

As a student branch, we operate under IEEE.  IEEE is the word's largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is home to 2,100 undergraduate and 100 graduate students majoring in engineering, science, or mathematics.  Emphasis is on a hands-on education where students learn the value of teamwork as well as formulas and equations to succeed in later careers.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department offers bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering and a bachelor of science in computer engineering.  Students are prepared for a wide range of careers in industry and government, as well as further study in engineering, business, medicine, or law.
